Full course description
This synchronous, virtual book study is targeted towards rural schools in suppor tof high achieving students. Facilitated by the author, Tamra Stambaugh, it will engage GT District Supervisors and Teachers in readings and discussions in three main overarching topics:
- What makes rural uniquie? Challenges, possibilities, and intersectionality.
- Place-based and appropriate curriculum and instruction.
- Systems for success: strength-based approaches to identification, service deliveray models, and other factors that support success.
